Josie began her professional career with IBM in the Real Estate and Construction Division. During her tenure she was appointed EA to the IBM Controller, John R. Joyce and held a variety of other finance and executive roles in New York and Europe in the Global Services, World Trade, Storage, Software, Mainframe, Printing and Sales and Marketing Divisions. Following her distinguished career with IBM she served as the CEO and President of National Land Partners, LLC and Inland Management, one the largest buyers and sellers of recreational and residential land in the U.S. Operations spanned ten states and sales exceeded $350 million a year at its peak. She oversaw the day to day operations of the company including its in-house finance company which was responsible for the acquisition and disposition of over $300M in loan pools acquired from the FDIC and other financial institutions, and investor relations for its $200 million Timber Investment Management Organization. During this period she, along with the Company’s founder, was approved by the FDIC to do a change of control for a local community bank in south Florida. In 2014, she joined Capital Group Green Developments, LLC as President and Managing Partner. The company specializes in renovating and building new structures that utilize environmentally safe and sustainable products and technologies. Josie is a founding Principal of Storage Development Partners, LLC a comprehensive consulting and development company specializing in self-storage and Urban Infill Solutions which allow her to use her extensive experience in business development, finance and management while she pursues her passion for developing creative new ventures that make an impact.
Josie earned her B.A. in Architecture from Rice University, Houston, TX, and also holds a MBA in Finance and Master of Architecture degree from Columbia University, New York, NY. Josie is currently a Vice Chair and Trustee of Northfield Mount Hermon School, Gill, MA, a Corporate Board member of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Broward County, FL and the Chief Executive Officer and Treasurer of the American Athlete Foundation, Boca Raton, FL. Josie was recently named one of “100 Outstanding Women of Broward County”, 2016.
