Lynda has a heart for helping others and is very active in her community. Thirty-eight years ago, she helped open a chapter for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation in Toronto, Canada. Fourteen years ago, she chaired the American Lung Association at Mar-A-Lago in Palm Beach with the late Jeff Bateman from Tiffany’s. Four years ago, she chaired Rally for Kids with Cancer in Miami with Eva Longoria.
Mrs. Levitsky was also involved with The Unicorn Foundation for autism for fourteen years and chaired and co-chaired events at Mar-A-Lago and The Breakers Palm Beach. Three years in a row, she chaired events for the Bob Beamon Foundation for Youth, including a golf tournament at Parkland for underprivileged athlete students with futures in professional basketball and football. She chaired A Day atthe Races at Gulfstream Racetrack for The Haven boys’ home three years in a row as well. Two years in a row, she chaired events for the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America; the first year, Seth Ellis was the Honoree at a golf tournament in Doral, and the second year, Michael Daszkal was the Honoree at a bash at Boca Raton Resort and Club.
For the past thirteen years, Mrs. Levitsky has been on the Center for Family Services Old Bags Luncheon Committee, as well as the Harmony House Shelter Committee for abused and neglected children. She has also been the Honoree and recipient of Power of Woman at Quantum House for terminally ill children for the past two years.
